We are very excited to be holding a groundbreaking for our new addition, Friday, May 12, at 11:00 a.m. We are inviting the public to attend and witness this important kick-off.
We are growing in order to expand access to care and services to meet the ever-increasing needs of our community. This will be a 5,000 sq. ft., two‐storied addition. The first floor will be a conference area, additional bathrooms, and a larger kitchen for our food pantry. The second story will contain 6 exam rooms, bathrooms, and additional office space.
To further meet the needs of our community, SCRFHC has successfully recruited two additional full‐time medical providers. SCRFHC continues to be a crucial provider for both primary and complex healthcare. This new addition will allow us to meet the community demand while fulfilling national quality standards.
Last fall, SCRFHC was awarded six Community Health Center Quality Recognition (CHQR) badges from the Health Resources Services Administration. These badges recognize SCRFHC for making notable quality improvement achievements in the areas of access, quality, health equity, and health information technology.
In addition, SCRFHC received a COVID‐19 badge that recognized the center’s contributions to the public health emergency response in the areas of data collection, testing and vaccinations. The addition was designed by architectural firm, Harriman and Associates, and Ducas Construction will make it a reality.
